Kindly be informed that citizens of countries with which Bosnia and Herzegovina has a visa regime, may enter Bosnia and Herzegovina with a passport, without the obligation to obtain visas for entry, exit, transit and stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, provided that they have a valid multiple visa or residence permit issued in the Schengen countries, the European Union Member States or the United States of America.

The period of stay in BiH in these cases is possible for a total of 90 days in any period of 180 days, provided that one continuous stay in BiH cannot be longer than 30 days and is within the validity of the visa or residence permit issued by the country.

Note: Citizens of countries with which Bosnia and Herzegovina has a visa regime and who have valid multiple-entry visas or residence permits issued in the United Kingdom, as of 31 December.2020, cannot enter Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of the Visa Decision, and this category of foreigners needs a BiH visa to enter, exit or transit through the territory of BiH, given that the Agreement on the Withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union is in force.
